Abid Malik, MD, is board certified in psychiatry (ABPN), psychosomatic medicine (ABPN), sleep medicine (ABPN), addiction medicine (ABAM) and obesity medicine (ABMS). He has been in practice since 2007, treating inpatients and outpatients with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses. He received his medical school training and medical degree from Dow Medical College. He completed his residency and training in psychiatry at Albany Medical College, N.Y. Dr. Malik is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. University of Florida and Florida State University. He has presented several research posters and published multiple research papers. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Psychiatry Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and American Society of Addiction Medicine
